Updated Fic Masterlit
Aug. 15th, 2024 06:08 pmI've been doing a bit of housekeeping and finally updated my Fic Masterlist. Okay, there were just the four stories to add, but that's almost prolific for me, especially as three out of four stories were posted this year. Although I suspect (understandably) that I'm the only person who ever goes to my Fic Masterlist (and, even then, that doesn't happen very often), I thought I'd share the new additions here in case anyone might be interested: ( Fic under the cut. )
I have a Sherlock Holmes story being published in Volume Two of Sherlock Holmes Takes the Stage:

The Kickstarter campaign has just started and will go until July 29th, so consider checking it out if you're a Sherlock Holmes fan. On the Kickstarter page, you can watch a video trailer and learn more about the two-volume collection.
Happy Canada Day, Eh?
Jul. 1st, 2024 05:42 pmHappy Canada Day! For once, I actually did something on Canada Day. I returned to my old stomping ground in Scarborough to spend part of the day with my siblings. They had both been talking about wanting to do something, so I suggested we go to Thomson Memorial Park as it was close to them and not too difficult for me to get to from my part of the city. Anyway, I don't think any of us had celebrated Canada Day at Thomson Park since some time in the 80s when it was a family tradition for us to go. ( Click here for photos and the like. )
Sherlock Holmes Walk
Apr. 29th, 2024 05:32 pmHello, LJ/Dreamwidth friends! Long time, no post. I think that at least a couple of you will be interested in the photos I took today, so I decided to share them here. ( The game's afoot )
Belanger Books Featured in a Podcast
Dec. 16th, 2023 12:39 pmI just found out that Derrick Belanger (of Belanger Books) was interviewed on Episode 278 of the I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere podcast.
I obviously have some interest in the subject as Belanger Books has been good enough to publish three of my stories, though I've been a fan of the podcast for years. In fact, I can honestly say that I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere is the first podcast I ever listened to. Anyway, I'm looking forward to listening to this particular episode, though I recommend the podcast to anyone who has an interest in Sherlock Holmes.
I just found out that Sherlock Holmes: Stranger than Truth is now available on Audible!
If anyone is interested in listening to some or all of this anthology, you can get a 30-day free trial, which is probably what I'm going to do when I have a bit more time. You can also hear a short audio sample if you would like some idea of what the recording/writing quality is like for this anthology.
As I had a non-Sherlock Holmes story rejected around this time last week, this is a wonderful (and timely) piece of news. :-D

I'm happy to say that The Consultations of Sherlock Holmes has been published. Available sellers can be found through the Goodreads link.
More self-promotion, I'm afraid. For anyone who might want to learn more about the story I've written for The Consultations of Sherlock Holmes, here's my author interview.
There will hopefully be more interesting author interviews to follow in this Kickstarter campaign.
